Core Team Bios:
Our team is led by Kevin L. Farris, a senior infrastructure strategist with 20+ years of experience in capital project governance, ESG alignment, and digital innovation across the U.S., Canada, Nigeria, and Latin America. Mr. Farris has served as Senior Director of Energy Expansion at Rolls-Royce, COO of Business Technical Services, and is the architect behind the blockchain-based Proof-of-Impact (PoI) platform, now used to verify training, employment, and climate-linked impact in underserved communities. He brings deep consulting experience with regulatory bodies, utilities, ministries, and municipal authorities, including recent advisory to the Governor of Jigawa State, Nigeria.

James Tylee has been at the forefront of fintech and blockchain combined for close to 30 years. Certified as an Ethereum Professional (CEP – License eff754) and Bitcoin Professional (CBP – License 2a9e19) by the C4 Consortium, he’s worked with Fortune 500 companies and blockchain innovators, bringing a deep knowledge of emerging tech.
Early in his career, he helped the IETF develop VRRP, a key network redundancy system still in wide use today. Later, he spent seven years at Bloomberg LP managing a global terminal system and built America’s first algorithmic trading link to Brazil’s Bovespa for Merrill Lynch in 2008.
Known for his work with FIX Protocol, cloud infrastructure, and high-frequency trading, James has led big projects—like multimillion-dollar rollouts for trading firms—and launched teams that boost efficiency. He’s also tackled “impossible” challenges, like creating Bear Stearns’ first IOI FIX Protocol Service Bureau in 2007.
These days, James advises blockchain companies and is part of the Distributed Ledger Performance Rights Organization (DLPRO), a project using cryptocurrency to rethink how artists get paid globally. You can also find him co-hosting Digital Bytes with Jonny Fry from Team Blockchain, where he dives into fintech, blockchain, and what’s next in tech. With a knack for blending hands-on experience with big-picture thinking, James keeps exploring the edges of digital innovation.
